Eating gluten-free on holiday should not mean having to settle for the same safe dish at every meal.
At La Terrasse du Village, our Summer 2026 menu includes a broad selection of dishes marked gluten-free, alongside several favourites that can be adapted on request. Whether you are joining us for a relaxed lunch in the sunshine, dinner after a day in the mountains or something sweet to finish the evening, there is plenty to choose from.
On our bilingual menu, SG means sans gluten, while an asterisk shows that a gluten-free adaptation may be possible. Just let our team know when ordering so we can guide you through the options.
A Fresh Start to Your Meal
Our summer starters make the most of fresh produce and lighter flavours, with several gluten-free choices available.
For something seasonal, the melon and Savoie ham combines two varieties of melon with a crisp shard of local ham, goat’s cheese espuma and melon consommé. The Angus beef carpaccio with burrata is another gluten-free option, served with rocket and almond pesto and sun-dried tomatoes.
Several of our other starters can also be adapted. The heritage tomatoes and burrata brings together grilled Burrata di Bufala, black olive and tomato ponzu, while the smoked mackerel pâté is served with pickled cucumber. Even our popular fried calamari, seasoned with sumac and fleur de sel and accompanied by sweet chilli jam and lime aioli, may be available as a gluten-free option.
Generous Gluten-Free Main Courses
The choice continues with our main courses, so gluten-free diners are not limited to a simple salad.
The Charolais beef tagliata features slices of sirloin steak with tenderstem broccoli, Parmesan and rocket and almond pesto. For fish lovers, the confit cod is served with potato purée, braised Savoy cabbage and a shellfish and white wine sauce.
Our roasted chicken supreme is another dish marked gluten-free. It is paired with creamy potato purée, charred peach, glazed carrots, pickled Romanesco and charred spring onion, creating a main course that is generous without feeling too heavy for summer.
Plant-based diners can choose the spiced beetroot falafel, which can be adapted to be gluten-free. It is served with vegan basil tzatziki, pickled beetroot and pomegranate seeds and is also suitable for vegan and lactose-free diets.
Salads That Are Anything but an Afterthought
When the weather is warm, a good salad can be exactly what you want after a walk, a bike ride or a morning on the golf course.
Our crispy Charolais beef salad is marked gluten-free and combines crispy beef with spring onion, carrot, cucumber, beansprouts, chillies, watercress, toasted sesame seeds and a Thai-style dressing. A vegetarian version is also available by replacing the beef with grilled halloumi.
The classic Caesar salad can also be adapted for gluten-free diners. It is made with romaine lettuce, roasted chicken, anchovies, hard-boiled egg and Parmesan shavings.
For something to enjoy alongside a drink or share at the table, our local charcuterie board is also marked gluten-free.
Gluten-Free Sides
Several of our side dishes are suitable for gluten-free diners, including our homemade potato purée, green vegetables and green salad.
They make it easy to add something extra to your meal or create a combination that suits your appetite.
Save Room for Dessert
Gluten-free dining does not need to end when the dessert menu arrives.
Our indulgent blondie sundae can be adapted as a gluten-free option. It combines an almond and white chocolate blondie with vanilla and yoghurt ice cream, Chantilly cream and lemon curd.
For a lighter, adults-only finish, Le Colonel Saunders pairs lemon sorbet with Belvedere blackberry and lemongrass vodka. It is marked gluten-free, vegan and lactose-free.
Alternatively, El Presidente Caliente combines rum and raisin ice cream, Zacapa 23 Años Reserva rum and coffee. Our selection of local cheeses can also be adapted for gluten-free diners on request.
Please Tell Us About Allergies and Intolerances
Our menu identifies dishes that are marked gluten-free and those that may be adapted. However, coeliac disease, allergies, intolerances and dietary preferences may require different levels of care.
Please always speak to your server before ordering. Our team can explain the ingredients and available adaptations and help you choose the dishes that are most appropriate for you.
As gluten-containing ingredients are handled in our kitchen, we cannot guarantee a completely trace-free environment.
